How to create a dailybooth screen saver

Below is a video tutorial showing you how to create a falling images screen saver which pulls the latest dailybooth pictures from the people who you follow. (OSX only I’m afraid)

The RSS feed URL is…
http://dailybooth.com/rss/username/pictures.rss

Thanks @Shaun for the idea.

Update: @Mrsir2 just sent me a message with some instructions for windows users.

All you do is:
> save the link in a new folder
> in the screensaver bit, select ‘My Pictures Slideshow’
> in ‘Settings’, select the folder you saved the link in
and that’s it.

  • This is a nice idea, but what if I need a feed with only "my" pictures in it?

For me a public feed with all my contacts pictures in it is pretty useless if not very scary in a field of privacy issues, like, as mentioned, friends with accounts set to private.
  • The RSS-feed-URLs are very dangerous! Even if you make your account private so that nobody can see your pictures, the feed is visible for everyone!
And if your account is not private... everyone can see your feed too.
Wouldn't it be better to have an open API with logon just like for example Twitter?
